Welcome to the official Web site of United Association Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Pipefitters Local Union 725. Local Union 725 represents over 1,200 members in the South Florida area who work in the air conditioning, refrigeration and mechanical systems industry. Our work covers installation, retrofit, service, maintenance and repair of water and sewer treatment plants, fuel piping installations for airports, ink piping installations for newspaper plants, ammonia and glycol systems for cold storage and ice rinks, pharmaceutical plants, supermarket refrigeration, building automation and controls, plus many others. On June 22 1950, Local Union 725 was issued a charter from the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipefitting Industry of the United States and Canada. Our jurisdiction encompasses Miami Dade, Broward, Monroe, Collier, Lee, Charlotte, and Sarasota counties. We have sixty-seven (67) contractors signatory to our collective bargaining agreement. Our journey person and apprenticeship training school is one of the finest in the United Association. |
Our Local
is involved in a variety of charity organizations and fundraisers from
underprivileged children to disabled adults. No other labor organizations can match what labor Unions do for
charities and journey person and apprentice training.
